  • Inventory: You must create and provide an inventory list of the items being moved, particularly for long-distance or storage services. This helps us track your belongings and ensure they are delivered safely.
  • Insurance: You may be asked to purchase additional insurance for your move if you are transporting valuable or fragile items. Our basic liability coverage is limited, so we recommend you consider additional protection if necessary.

7. Our Responsibilities

We are responsible for providing the agreed-upon moving services in a professional and timely manner, ensuring that your belongings are safely transported. Our responsibilities include:

  • Providing Trained Movers: We provide professional movers who are experienced in handling a variety of moving needs, including loading, unloading, and transportation of your belongings.
  • Safeguarding Your Belongings: We take reasonable steps to protect your items from damage during the move. However, we are not liable for damage due to circumstances beyond our control, such as acts of nature.
  • Timely Delivery: We strive to adhere to the scheduled moving times and delivery windows. However, factors such as traffic, weather, or unforeseen delays may affect the timing of your move.

8. Damage and Liability

While we take great care in handling your belongings, Keystone Heights Movers is not liable for damage resulting from certain circumstances, including:

  • Acts of God: Natural disasters, weather conditions, or other events beyond our control.
  • Improper Packing: If you pack your items yourself, we are not liable for damage to improperly packed or fragile items.
  • Valuable or Fragile Items: We recommend purchasing additional insurance for high-value or fragile items. Basic liability insurance covers a limited amount of damage to your belongings.
  • Pre-existing Conditions: We are not responsible for pre-existing damage or wear and tear on your items before the move.

9. Storage Services

If you require storage services, we will provide a secure and climate-controlled environment to store your belongings. You agree to comply with the terms and conditions set for storage, which may include:

  • Access to Storage: You may access your stored belongings during business hours, subject to availability and facility rules.
  • Storage Fees: Storage fees are billed on a monthly basis and are due upon receipt of the invoice.

10. Cancellation and Rescheduling

You may cancel or reschedule your move with sufficient notice. However, cancellation or rescheduling may incur fees depending on the timing:

  • Cancellation Fees: If you cancel within 48 hours of the scheduled move, you may be subject to a cancellation fee. If you cancel less than 24 hours before the move, a higher cancellation fee may apply.
  • Rescheduling: If you need to reschedule, we will do our best to accommodate your request, subject to availability. Rescheduling within a short time frame may result in additional fees.

11. Force Majeure

We are not responsible for delays or failures to perform due to events beyond our control, such as natural disasters, pandemics, strikes, government regulations, or any other unforeseen circumstances that may impact our ability to provide services.
